Eric (Yeon Sik) Cho is a quantitative researcher with a strong educational and Data Science foundation in the Finance. Eric earned his Ph.D. in Finance from UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management in 2017 and his professional experience includes 3 years as a R&D Lead at Korea Investor Services Pricing (KISP), an affiliate of Moody’s. While at KISP, Eric led the development of data-driven product ecosystem for financial valuation team spanning from excel template and bot-enabled in-house messenger to derivative pricing engine and automated email parser. Eric’s main research interest is in NLP. As a current fellow at the Data Incubator (TDI), Eric’s capstone explores how NLP techniques can be utilized to build a tool to explore the stock market universe.
